The Mersin State Opera and Ballet (DOB) celebrated World Dance Day with a particular premiere of the two-act ballet “Hürrem Sultan.”
The ballet portrays the eagerness, campaigns and victories of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and his spouse Hürrem Sultan, often known as Sultan Roxelana (1502-1558).

The music was composed by famend composer and musician Nevid Kodallı, and the libretto and choreography had been by Oytun Turfanda, who handed away at a younger age 12 years in the past.
